India at present has a greater share of the poor around the world. There are number of people in India who are still living in streets and are unable to earn a meal for a single time in a day. Poverty gives birth to crime also. People below the poverty line live an unhygienic life and are suffering from fatal diseases. The major reason for poverty is the rapid growth of population. The only ointment of poverty is EDUCATION. Education is inversely proportional to poverty.
